Week 1

So this is week 1...I'm not too disappointed because I didn't expect to see results yet. I'm gonna stick it out for at least 6 months and see what happens! I'm pretty hopeful that this is going to work. I would say there has been a slight improvement...the already existing acne has calmed down a little, but I do have a few new ones. I read on here about popping pimples that are ready to be popped, so I popped a couple tonight the right way. If this regimen works out for me and I get completely cleared up, I'm going to try out derma rolling for the scarring! I saw quite a few great reviews on derma rolling on Youtube.
The first couple of days I thought the regimen was easy. I started it on Thanksgiving break so my skin could go ahead and start peeling while I didn't have to be anywhere. My skin really didn't start getting dry or flaky until the end of the week, though. These pics are tonight after I've done the routine, and I very gently removed the flaky skin with a silicone scrubby. My skin is still very dry though. My eyelids are dry too, somehow? I'm guessing that some of the cleanser is getting on them when I rinse it off, I'm not sure. These past couple of days have probably been the worse for dry skin, but it really isn't that bad. My face is just tight and stings a little. I am wearing makeup everyday, and I've had to put on less foundation because my skin is so dry.

Thank you! I'm excited, I posted my week 2 pictures which weren't as good because I cheated on the regimen the day before. But I got back on it and today I see huge improvement :)
