My skin got really dry and irritated this week. Lots of new breakouts but I'm noticing pimples are healing much faster. Hard to notice much of a difference from this week and last week but its way too early to start comparing. I definitely need to cut back on atralin 0.05%, I thought my skin could handle it since ive used it before. Not the case. Yesterday I applied a homemade mask with Manuka honey, aloe Vera, and hemp oil to help moisturize and heal my dry skin and it helped. I'm finding that aczone is a little gentler on my skin and does a good job in shrinking my pimples, atralin brings the pimples to the surface and smooths out the tinier bumps. So for next week I think I will use aczone morning and night and atralin every third night. Hopefully this will help minimize the irritation and number of breakouts. Maybe do a honey mask once or twice as needed and continue moisturizing with aloe Vera and hemp oil, also applying cetaphil oil absorbing spf30. I hate sunscreen BTW and pharmaceutical topicals for that matter, but for now its what I have to do.
