That's where my face is presently. At the moment I'm on a personal regimen set by my dermatologist that involves a bunch of antibiotics; thus far they've only worked on my forehead. I think it's safe to declare for now that my cheeks remain impervious to any form of treatment. I'll be seeing the derm again in two months; hopefully he'll understand my urgency for a permanent fi.

In the meantime, what do you guys think? worthy enough for Accutane, or what?

Yes your skin could benefit greatly from accutane,Overactive sebaceous glands that gt plugged are why skin gets zits, antibitics wont control or stop oil production where the prblem begins, accutane will..I tried many topicals, creams, pils etc..Finally was recently put on tane..4 wks now..huge improvemnt starting ..week 2-3 were the intail breakout..not fun but..muchbetter now and i only had mild acne but persistant...so good luck.

One cheek is always more stubborn than the other. its annoying I know. Antibiotics work on different kinds of bacteria around the face, ive been on doxycycline for about 4 weeks with moderate improvement. Im gonn stick to it, but i had success two years ago with minocycline. what are you on?

Antibiotics Rnt good. It'll end up causing you more problems in the long run. The bacteria will build up a tolerance and your acne will come back. I can't say that accutane is any better, but it's only for a few months. Antibiots, you'll be taking 4ever.
