Wow! I'm glad to see the skin graft went well for you. Are you happy with the results?

Hmmm...yes, and no. I am happy about the fact that the punch graft elevated the scarred area, making it almost completely level with the rest of the unscarred skin on my face. However, I am not happy about the fact that one of the grafts does not match my skin color (it is several shades darker), so it looks like I now have a permanent area of hyperpigmentation that will have to be touched up with concealer until I am able to get another procedure done to lighten it. Also, I am not at all pleased about the fact that another one of the grafts has a "ring scar" around it where my cosmetic derm grafted it into my skin.

I always assumed that "ring scar" would just fade, and end up looking barely distinguishable from my skin the way that most of the areas that had punch floats performed on them. So far, it hasn't. This is why I now believe it is time for me to seek the services of a new cosmetic derm. I am mostly happy with her work, but not completely.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I didn't even realize I had a comment on one of my pictures.
