I don't know a lot about laser/peel treatments for acne scars, but I know most dermatologists would probably suggest that you treat your acne before worry about scarring. I know that can sound a little disheartening, but you could spend a lot of money to fix the scars of yesterday, and get more tomorrow.

Are you using any topicals? I've found that Dan's AHA really helps reduce the red/brown marks left behind by acne. Maybe add that to your daily regimen to start.

What are you currently using to treat your acne?

I'm currently prescribed by my dermatologist to use spectragel and then a neostrata + clindomycin liquid solution. However, being on this same medication for 4 months, last night I started using some leftover benzoyl peroxide... I used quite a lot so I woke up with some redness/irritation, however the redness has died down over the day and my skin seems a lot clearer.

WHen you say the AHA do you mean the alpha hydroxy acid he recommends for back/body acne as well? I think I might start using that too, as I also am afflicted with back and body acne.

However, in regards to my face, what would I want to apply first using dan's regimen? Would I start with the regular face regimen that dan suggests for your face, and than apply AHA to reduce the red/brown marks?
