Dude, I know how you feel about cysts. I get them all the time too. The only difference is mine just dont get red, they get enlarged, so much that they distort the shape of my face. In the past, I got cortisone injections for them. But they advise against doing that while on accutane.

Make sure you get a good moisturizer and gentle soap while using this stuff. I was using a soap called Gentle Purpose Soap which came in bar form, so it's long lasting. For a moisturizer, I was using cetaphil moisturizer and for a lip balm (you will be drrrry, but your post is in aug, so im sure you know this already) I used aquaphor.

This should help calm the redness to a large degree. Often we're told that they key to curing acne is drying it out. And while this helps clear the infection, it harms the skin, because ur skin is dry, cracked, and takes longer to renew. That's where the moisturizer comes in. The accutane will already dry your skin out, way more than any benzoyl peroxide cream(proactiv, etc). So you no longer need that drying effect in your regiment as the accutane covers it. All you need to do is make sure that your skin is properly hydrated so it can do its thing. It's the sebum (oil production) that you're fighting, so a little oil-free moisturizer is just what you need (cetaphil).
