i think i look pretty bad, i've been trying to be optimistic but i dont think it'll last much longer. i have a week off spring break and i want to TRY SOMETHING NEW. i dont care at this point what it is, i just want some HOPE you know. theres something my derm suggested called Micro-dermabrasion a while ago, but i looked it up and it seems more for pores and scars not active acne. please if you have any ideas, maybe a facial would help? let me know. i have a week so i dont care about side affects like redness or peeling.

Hi Melanie,

you can read some ideas in the board, I posted couple comments. Deffinitely don't do microdermabrasion - not worth it. Talk to your dermatologist, there is a lot of great stuff. I don't know what your regime is, and maybe it's good to start there. Sometimes the cosmetic you're using can be to agressive to your face. I went through smootbeam, laser peel and microdermabrasion. My skin is just about your color, and still thinking what to do. My friend is using some kind of treatments, that peels her skin, but she cleared a lot, and have much less bumps on her face. I will ask her and let you know. Maybe you can check with your doctor about it.

Good luck Ilona
