I was a vegetarian from age 16-24. When I started to eat meat again it took 9 months before I got acne. And I've had really bad acne for almost two years now. I think it's weird that my acne started to heal so fast after I stopped eating meat and fish! Maybe it's the hormones in the meat?? I will try to add fish to my diet later, but right now I just want to enjoy my clear skin! :D

Wow... what a difference! What was the motivation to give up grains? And what protein do you eat now?

I noticed that grains break me out. I tested many times to make sure I was right. I get enough protein from fish, like tuna.

what exactly do you eat/avoid?

i'm interested in going veg so i'd love to hear your story...

I avoid any meat as much as I can. I don't eat bread and dairy at all. I can eat as many vegetables, fish and fruit as I want. And real butter! I have also noticed that a tablespoon of olive oil in the morning together with the fish oil have really improved my skin. It's so soft! :D

Wow, that's an amazing improvement!

Do you think eating rice is okay? I'm asian, so it's kinda my staple food. I dunno how else to replace it. I tried potato but cooking it takes time. :D
