My chin

My chin is where I am still having trouble with getting pimples. Hopefully the spironolactone will kick into high gear soon and knock those suckers out. I've been taking it now for about 6 weeks.

Spironolactone is a anti-androgen blocking pill. The androgen hormones are what produce excess oil production. So when you get those hormones under control your face finally starts to calm down. Spironolactone will be most effect though if your acne is caused by a hormonal imbalance. That's what yours kinda sounds like if your face just exploded all at once like mine did. It has helped me so much! I am currently taking 100mg but I go back to see my doctor next week to see if he will bump me up to 150mg to knock out any residual breakouts. Good luck!
