This is a recent picture. I have on heavy makeup, and took a pic in the best light I could find. Heck I even covered my worst scars with glue-on rhinestones... Still the scars are obvious. I hope to get something done to get rid of them some day... But first I want to make sure that I NEVER break out again...

Does't look bad at all in the slightest, you have lovely skin tone. You would have to be up very close to even see those minor pock marks.

I have had acne ever since I hit puberty, but had some years with good skin when I was 16-18. I did two sets of the Dr.Schrammek Green Peel with good effect for my scars back then. Ofcourse, then my scarring was very minimal, nothing like what I have on my face now. I think I'm gonna get a deeper peel done someday. The Obagi Blue Peel. But as it costs over 1600$, I first want to make sure that I'm done with acne forever. What are your plans? I have thought about laser, but as I am so pale and sensitive I think it would harm more than do good for me.

i'm dealing w/ acne scarring too. there are a few different options. i'm going for a OTC topical with hydroquinone. this worked for me last time. if you have insurance, a dermatologist can recommend something suitable. if not, there are plenty of options online. they are fairly expensive, ranging anywhere from $50-$200 dollars. just google "acne scar" and a bunch of stuff will come up.

at least you get to wear makeup. i'm a dude, so if i slathered my face w/ foundation, it'd be noticable (tried it once). search for options on the internet. good luck.

I think the rhinestones have the opposite effect and actually draw attention to your scars, but I know the feeling of wanting to at least 'fill in' or cover the worst ones, and I've found that the most convincing method is to get a light to medium brown eyeliner pencil and dot in fake moles where the worst scars are, this covers the scars and looks very convincing and does not highlight the fact you're trying to conceal something (just don't go mad or you'll look like a dot to dot book).

    I hope this helps.

A blue peel will also work wonders on the shallow scarring and will get red of the redness and uneven pigment (worked for me - but I needed two to see a real difference).
