Well, unfortunately I'm not seeing any improvement. I only seem to be getting more blemishes but at least they go away a lot faster since retin a speeds up my skin turnover rate. The sides are the worst but I am getting blemishes on my forehead which is a bummer since it was clearing up a while ago. The good news is that my skin feels smooth like a baby's butt minus the bumps from the acne. I've still been using SPF 35 religiously and I keep out of the sun and I use moisturizer. My skin is rather red and stings a little since I was a little overzealous with the retin a application and applied a little more than my normal 1/2 inch. I hope things clear up more while I work towards my 5th week but we'll see. I still have a dermatologist appointment towards the end of October and I would like to go in with clear skin with the combination of retin a and spironolactone. We'll see and I'll keep you updated next Saturday to any acne obsessed people like myself who are out there. Adios.
