It looks like you don't have any active spots, what stuff have you tried in the past?

Tanning and Using Clean & Clear Astringent.... i've currently got several bad spots. I've been thinking about a large back tattoo to cover most of it... although as i've read up on it... it seems the ink doesn't take on some scar tissue and can "blow out" leading to a big splotch. My only other option is to try some laser therapy. I'm telling ya... this is getting really old, very emotionally draining.

Can you maybe get someone or use the cloth like on the DK products to put on some BP? Tatoo isnt a good idea! It will not take on scarred areas. Personal experience... :D I wish you luck, Hun!

i've tried the bp...etc.... right now i dont have but maybe 2 active spots. seems like they keep developing into huge scars. i know the tanning bed is bad for you, but its the only way i can get it under control, so i've been laying alot... ( 2 active spots ) I'm actually calling in the morning to see about the smoothbeam lasers, they are now offering it in my town... but for like 3-4 hundred per session i think. it is suppost to help with both active acne and scars as well... from what i understand it kills the sebum cells or something, and regenerates tissue i dunno.

so... where did you have the tattoo at that it didnt take on the scars, and what did it turn out like, any pics???

I finally went to the dermatologist and had a smoothbeam laser treatment done. It cost me 200 dollars. It hurt a little, but I can tell a slight difference, i'm not as prone to breakouts. However, they told me it would take several more treatments, and they are going to up the "jewels" or power next time, so hopefully I'll have more results. The one thing that they did tell me was that since I have darker skin... caucasion... but just dark skinned, a little cherokee blood in me lol... anyway they said that it could leave blotches on my skin, but it would be better than I have right now, so i'm anxiously awaiting my next appointment.

Advice for people who want to try this: don't expect too much with the first treatment.

Hey, sorry about your scars. I have back acne too. I've try a tca peel and its suppose to peel upper layers of your skin. I think is a great solution. Got it out of ebay (cheaper) and someone needs to apply it for you. Be careful using it if you decide to try it. I think it will help you. I got a little pigmentation from it thought because i have an indian shade to me but i dont think you will have that problem.

My doctor suggested vbeam treatments which are supposed to get ride of the redness, however I have just started this process so I don't know anything about how effective it will be. Good luck.
