can anyone recommend a regimen for treating this type of post-acne red marks?

or, should I just wait and hope they will heal with time?

I am using Skintactix, regimen for normal skin. Started using this product about 2 months ago.

    Skintactix antibacterial cleanser

    glycolic exfoliator

    green poultice

I had extremely active acne with bumps a few months ago, but now those bumps have disappeared. I still get acne sometimes, but they occur very seldom and go away faster than before.

So now, I have smooth skin, but am covered with red marks from old acne.

They will gradually fade away in 6 months at most. What did you do to get rid off the acne?

Hey guys, I think I'm going to start the regimen shown in this forum

with baking soda, ACV, and egg white mask.

Also, I think I'm going to try Jan Carlo's water regimen shown here

and cleanse my face with water only.

    I'll update later.

    Hello Ommas33,

I've had outbreaks of cysts & nodules in the past myself before starting Dan's BP Regimen. I find chemical peels to be the easiest way to remove/lessen red marks and hyperpigmentation from acne (as well as from shaving, for men). You might be interested in this website: www.skinculture.com. The chemical peels they sell are "do-it-at-home" peels, so a physician is not required and the procedure is very private. I've done the 4000 peel 2x already, and they've also helped with my scars. Pretty amazing, actually. I would highly recommend trying one for yourself!

    Hope this helps. Good luck!
