A brighter day.

After one day of being gentle with my face I think I'm already seeing results. I just used the products I already had. I do plan on ordering Dan Kern's products and some jojoba oil this weekend. I'm really hopeful that I might have finally found something that will work.

Your skin looks so much better in these photos! Good luck with your new plan, I think it's a good one.

Hi! I read your story and I felt sad because I had the same problem. I used to attack my skin the same way as you - tried every acne product in existence and nothing helped...also picked/popped all my spots. Nasty! I also knew for sure it was making matters worse to treat my skin that way but couldn't help but attack it anyway. But then...maybe about a year-ish ago started treating my skin w/ kids gloves. Discarded all my chemical acne products, started using super gentle cleansers, moisturized with emu or jojoba oil...tried my utmost to break the terrible terrible picking habit. Kicking the habit was the hardest part.

...and now... my complexion is 10000X better. I still do get spots occasionally but it looks loads better and I feel much more confident.

It's hard...but sometimes just forgetting about your skin entirely is the best thing you can do. Just to let acne take it's natural course. The body heals itself with time and if you let it. :(

It's so comforting to hear from people who've attacked their faces and managed to overcome it. I can't wait till the day that I can say my face looks 10000X better.

Which moisturizer works best for you, jojoba or emu? I'm thinking I'll get both anyways but I'm curious.

Thanks so much for the advise and site <3
