After 4 months of stopping Retin A Micro

Well, it's been about 4 months since I stopped retin a micro, and my skin is sooooo much better. Looking back, I can't believe how far I've come. It was so hard for me to get through the past few months. But I did it! I got very depressed though, so I go to therapy now and it helps alot. I'm so happy that my skin is getting back to normal. I used Benzaclin for about 3 months, but it made my skin so dry. So I've been using Paula's Choice Blemish Fighting Solution (2.5% BP, instead of 5% BP in BenzaClin) for 1 month, and it's great. I also use the BHA 1% Lotion (also from Paula's Choice). I'm very happy that my skin is getting back to normal. I could cry (actually I have, a lot)!

From the album:

It was so hard!!!!

I am utterly speechless!!! You look sooooo beautiful. I am glad that you are finally happy with your skin. I would be too because it looks amazing. Keep your head up and remember that the skin that you had is in the past. Stay strong and I pray for your continued success :(

:( Thank you. I'm glad that my skin is getting better. I still get one pimple during that time of the month, but hey nothing's perfect right.

Your skin looks fantastic! How did you get rid of red marks so quickly?

I'm wearing foundation in these pics, but i guess i was just lucky with the marks. I still have some light ones right now (cuz I broke out b/c I had an allergy to my friend's makeup, grrrrrr). It could also be because of the BHA I was using. But right now i'm not using that. I'm using BenzaClin again. I just apply a really thin layer & then use moisturizer & my skin doesn't dry out anymore. I guess I finally figured it out, lol.
