A sign of victory?

Been on accutane for 6 weeks now, but I'm also using 10% benzoyl peroxide wash in the morning, some chinese herbalist pills (probably crap, but worth a try), some chinese lotion called 101E and a helping from the spell of good sunny weather we've had here recently. I'm peeling like an orange with 2nd degree burns but as long as I keep slappin' on the moisturiser it seems to combat that. And the slight tan seems to hide some of my scarring. All is going well, hope it keeps up! My lips are dry and almost shrivelled as you probably see from this picture. And that's with plenty of vaseline. Also been prescribed Fucidin H for the corners of my house, which is an antibiotic and an anti-inflammitory which has worked miracles. It used to be that every morning I had to tear the sides of my lips open by opening my mouth as wide as I could. This obviously lead to bleeding and was pretty sore. But no more of that for me :cool2:

your skin has definetly improved but be careful with the sun...roaccutane makes you more likely to burn and the tan might look good now but it can really damage your skin in the future. so enjoy the sun but do use sunscreen - use a kiddies one with spf > 30 cos its not irritating or a gel cos its not so thick and greasy.

good luck! i am sure you will clear up nicely for the summer
