Left side

3 months in

First month 30mg; next two months 60mg. I weigh 60kg so the dose is right, so why does my skin just continue to get worse? The first month was perfectly calm, but since then it has been constantly at the level shown in the pictures which is (give or take) the worse my skin has ever been.

The lighting in the "before" pictures makes my skin seem better than it truly was, but even so... it was nothing compared with how it is now. I know I was an ugly bastard even before so I could well do without all this crap.

It's just a nightmare.

Was anyone else's skin worse than when they started by month 3?

All the progress pictures I've seen show nice steady improvement beginning quite early on. God help me if I'm the one accutane doesn't work for.

Wow, your skin looks great! Well done! You have amazing blue eyes...*hypnotized* Hehe.. :|

Well thanks. But my skin was okay -- not normal, but not disgusting -- to start with (left) and now it's a horrible mess (right).

Mate, my suggestion would be to go a long term low dose treatment of Accutane, this is what I am currently doing after taking higher doses in the past which for some weird reason made me break out but now I am on 20mg a day and my skin is 99% clear and has been for a while now. I think that sometimes you can take too much Accutane and your body/skin doesn't like it and each person seems to ract differently to taking Accutane.

Thats my thoughts anyway and its working for me.

Ahh, my skin behaves in cycles too. One week my skin will be nice and the next bumpy with a million pimples. Just awful. I don't think it'll ever end.
