yes i have the kind of acne you have but a few times worse and i know for a fact that if you only use topical treatments and the CSR bar, you'l get minimal results because it only works on mild acne.

since you have already tried a bunch of shit from your doctor or derm i suggest you ask for accutane because its the 'last resort' thing. i kinda think the CSR is a waste of time, but who knows... i could be wrong.

Get Accutane that CSR is not gonna even help your acne.

U don't know if it will or won't until u try it

everyone's skin is different, just because it didn't work for u doesn't mean it won't work her and visa versa

You should stick to the Regimen as closely as possible, and it will work for you! I hate to see you in pain, though, so here is a natural remedy that I do not think would interfere because (a) it's just salt, and (b) it's non-irritating. The one and only thing that helped me with the "clusters" that you mention was an Epsom Salts poultice.

Here's what you do: Go to your local Walgreens or even a grocery store and buy a bag of $2 Epsom Salts. Before bed, after your BP and moistruizer have soaked in, pour about a tablespoon of Epsom Salts into a small bowl. Add about a half cup of warm water. Swish it around with your finger until the salts dissolve. Tear off a square of toilet tissue (preferably white, because dye could be bad for your skin) and a dunk small strip of it in the saltwater. Squeeze out some of the water between your fingers. Then plaster the wet paper to your skin, covering the cluster of pimples. Go to sleep. Let the paper dry on your face.

By morning the paper will probably have dried up and fallen off. You will see that your cluster is calmer and flatter. It may have even drained somewhat. I have done this many, many times and am always very happy with the results.

    Good luck!

Hon, I really think Accutane is worth a try. Some people can't take it but many have amazing results. Your acne could potentially scar, and your self-esteem is taking a beating. Nip it in the bud! Speak to your derm about it. Good luck.

It looks as if your skin is kinda hurt by something and is realy affected!

Try to see a doc and seek for professional help! Sometimes we just treat our skin so harshly that the acnes go even worse.

    All the best :|

the regimen is ideal for people who have acne above the skin. with your kind of acne that is under the skin, accutane is the right choice. i dont know if BP alone can help you, but its worth a try. if i were though, i would see a dermatologist and get put on accutane right away. it helped me loads, i only get very very minor breakouts after taking it 2 years ago. were only here to help you.

    good luck

Agree, this girl wont benefit from Dans regimen. Hers is deep and severe Accutane is tailored made for this.

Don't let people's comments get you down. People said the same thing to me when I first started the CSR. But I stuck with it and got great results. I saw my doctor and asked for an antibiotic, which I took for only a month. I think that really helped with the inflammation and infection. Maybe go ahead and make an appointment with a dermatologist? I wouldn't try to push Accutane on you because I don't think that is the only way to fix the problem. Keep doing the CSR, but please do consider seeing a dermatologist. Even your family doctor may be able to help. Good luck.

Hello, I admire you for sticking to this regimen. Please continue to do it and don't be bullied into taking accutane.

Can I suggest B5? Take a look at my regimen. And it took away all my painful acne, similar to what you seem to be experiencing now. I still did the CSR whilst I was taking the B5, and the 2 combined together kicked ass!!!!!

Good luck, keep your chin up, and you are still beautiful even with acne. :|

ok i never tried accutane but i had just as bad if not worse skin. i used to be able to push my tongue against my cheek and pus would come out. i been on CSR for 3 weeks and i havent looked this good in years. litterally years. know getting used to bp sucks but its worth it, make sure to mosturize. ive learned over years that mostuire is so so important for good skin. dont use bar cleansers. i wish you the best of luck.

Thanks for the tips in your earlier posts. Using the tissue w/ salt helped with the "clusters". It's still there and still red though but not as swollen. :| I just wish that my acne wasn't this red. I just don't understand why it's this red though. I really want to exfoliate but i'm afraid of irritating my skin... I feel that if i'm able to exfoliate... then maybe the BP would absorb better on skin. When i'm washing my face "gentle" it doesn't seem to remove all of my make up or whatever residue that's on my face. Is it just dry skin? I'm still breaking out... my ance breakout is similar to my day 1 pictures. So no progress... i'm still sticking the the regimen... I know that it's hasn't been a month yet... but sigh... I don't know what to do.

What can i do to gentle exfoliate?

I think you should get accutane. Do some research and stuff on acne medications (this site is a good source cuz it has ratings and descriptions.) Then talk to your derm. Remember to never give up.
