Before CSR

i'm a 27 year old male, and i've tried a lot of acne products. i've tried OTC - triclosan soaps, salicylic acid, BP, oxy/clearsil pads, and facial toners. i've even tried retin-A. i feel like none of them really helped. it used to be so much worse when i was in college (around age 19). it used to get so red. what really got down the red out of my face was calendula tea. it was very soothing and didn't aggravate my skin. to this day, my skin is still very sensitive, and my acne hasn't completely cleared.

unfortunately, calendula wasn't enough. i feel as though the bacteria is not leaving my skin, and after seeing Dan's videos, i want to give the Clear Skin Regimen a shot. i really admire what he's done.

here's what I'm using:

Cleanser

Nivea For Men Extra Gentle Face Wash

(why i chose it: no triclosan, no salicylic acid, no fragrance, no dye. did i mention it was extra gentle?)

BP

Clear Skin Regimen BP

Moisturizer

Nivea For Men Daily Protective Lotion

SPF 15

oil-free

wish me luck, everyone.

Hello! Good luck to you!! Like you i've tried everything and nothing worked. Then I went to see a derm and was given benzaclin and retin-A - in the lowest possible concentrations because my skin is very sensitive too. My face became very irritated, red and crusty and it didn't help my acne at all. I've found that the gentle, natural approach works best. Gotta treat your skin with kids gloves! Right now I just have lots of tiny skin-coloured bumps from clogged pores and red marks from old spots...

Hey good luck! From the looks of your acne, it seems like the type I'd think the CSR would clear up! It worked for me and now it'll work for you too... check out my gallery if you lose faith in it... and Keep us updated!
