Day 58

Okay, peeps. I need your support. No matter how much I complain about clogged pores, please do not encourage me to squeeze, extract, or otherwise pick at them. My face hates it when I do this. I mean, just look at the raw meat on my left cheek. Ultimately, I take responsibility for picking. But I need your help because I will take any little suggestion to do so and GO FOR IT. Arrrgghhh. Why did I do this to myself? Why must my face be so red? It's so not a good face day...

Hey sweety looking great!! Maybe talk aloe pills instead of aloe cream.. I have been finding out that it helps alot more with redness and cuts and ect for my skin. Dont pick at your face yet you can do that probable in couple of weeks. You have come a long way to mess things up just to get rid of the clog pores. Dans regimen is supprisingly helping me get rid of my clog pores. i probable dont use as much cream but i have naturally oily skin.

P.S. i feel like i heal alot faster because i pop my pimps and white heads even though i been told millions and millions time not to do it. It really doesnt effect my skin but it gets rid of my pimples in 3 to 4 days opposed to 8-9days nautrually.

hey! you are looking beautiful! i was a picker too but stopped when i went on accutane, and even though most of my clearing has been from that, i dont have ''red marks'' or anything left over from popping....it really makes a difference!!! just put up a sign next to a mirror that says DO NOT PICK... it helped me in the beginning lol

I do the picking thing a lot. I am always trying to squeeze something out of my skin. Maybe cut your nails off or something so you cant. LOL The only way I dont pick is if i dont look in the mirror a lot. Damn that mirror!

Your skin looks sooooooo much better hun.

I have learnt that picking only makes it worse and knocks you a step back...!!!

Before i do it i ask myself.. is this really what i wanna do, will i feel better after doin it, and will it improve the look of my face... if the answers are yes.. then go for it.... 99% of the time, my answers are no... keep up the great work :)

 Don't pick!!! Just remember that it's clearing itself up, and healing on it's own. Hands off

Great progress though....I can't believe you...taking pictures in natural light....I'd be petrified to do that! It just shows how great you're doing....you can look good in any lighting! :)

I am from Australia and I have used the Jurlique range. It works really well and is all organic. Used on sensitive skin. Also when cleansing do it morning and night and use only a little cleaners so that it does dry out the face

visit. I didn't see where you came from but they have over 15 countries listed on the website

    www.jurlique.com.au

Also carry around a filter drink bottle, eat more fish or take fish tablets. Take zinc and vitamin C tablets twice a day and apply silicea gel to your already active pimples. You can get it from the health food store. Also you can consume the stuff aswell. Try taking a table spoon a day. Also start making fruit smoothes with organe juice to take daily. Eat more carrots as well.

I am the same way! Just when my skin is starting to clear I have to go and squeeze away...and I always pay dearly for it in the morning. Just try to remind yourself (I need to take my own advice!) that if you squeeze and get rid of one clogged pore, three zits will show up in its place! I feel your pain, I wish I had not squeezed when I was younger, maybe I wouldn't have scaring now! Good luck!

if there is one single thing I had to choose that I learned from this website that I wish I had realized 20 years ago, it would be to not pick! Gentleness is absolutely key here. Acne-prone skin is sensitive skin, I wish I had been told this decades ago!!

sit on your hands or something Celebration, but do not pick!!

Looking great. I just started the regimen, day 3 now. It's working out great. I do find myself with the tendency to want to pick. I just remind myself, don't and slap one hand with the other.. it's weird, but it works. It itches real bad and theres nothing that i would love more to do than to pick my entire face. I can see the progress already from not picking. it's worth it. be strong. in the end the tendency will not be there. it takes 30 days to break a habit.

    DON'T PICK DON'T PICK DON'T PICK DON'T PICK

My roommate told me she wanted me to cover up all the mirrors in the house when I had downtime so I wouldn't be tempted to look and obsess and pick. Maybe that would help..

But nonetheless, you have come SO far and I think you look gorgeous! Remember, I am brutally honest - I would tell you if you looked bad. But you DON'T! You look beautimus and my loves you :)

you're not brutally honest at all. All you do is say everyone's gorgeous or amazing all the time. Yea right.

the best advice for celebration is to NOT post pictures everyday as still there's marks and they need time to fade. By posting everyday you only discourage yourself more and get anxious and start doing shit like picking at the acne. So that is better advice. in another instance, if ur dieting, DONT look at the mirror everyday, look once a week, then you'll be happy everytime you do and even excited to do it.

    a watched pot never boils.

LOL  Healing on its own and clearing itself up...Don't even say that...YOu use BP or any other type of washes...Nots not clearing by itself or healing on its own...Watch what you say because it can be missleading..

I am the some way- every time I pick at something, I immediately regret it and wish that I had just left it alone. But when i'm looking at it in the mirror I always think "if only I could make this one go away, my face would look much better." Too bad it never works out that way>> slap some BP on it if you aren't going anywhere. It'll help heal it and also cover it up so you won't be as tempted to pick =)

Hello, Pleased to meet you Miss. I see you have the same "thinking it's going away then it comes back again" problem that I do. Here is what I'm going on (I got clear before using this approach) but slipped up big time just recently. So I'm going by this once again, Just thought you might find it useful too :(
