Any advice Updated
Hey guys! Recently been suffering from acne flare ups... and been on medication for 3 weeks now. The medication caused severe breakouts/purge and now i’m left with a lot of marks. I’ve been to my doctors and he prescribed me minocycline HCL 50mg 2x/ day and Taro Benzoyl peroxide/climdamycin

Scar/Skin Progress Updated
Used tazorac and benzaclin since May 21, 2009. Then stopped that after a while and am just using 10% AHA, 2% BHA, ad 2.5% BP. And sulfur. And yaz.

Spironolactone Week 8 Updated
So...this is very difficult for me but I've decided to post a few pictures. This is me, mid week 8 on spironolactone, BCP, Acanya Gel and HQRA. I am red, inflammed and dry with 3 very non-coverupable acne lesions and lots of half pimples, post inflammatory scarring, blackheads and clogged pores.

As of today I started taking Minocycline 100mg 1qd (just for a week then I will start taking 2bid per my derm.) I also started taking Probiotic, Vitamin Calcium 1000mg, D3 600IU, Zinc 15mg, Mag 400mg and Vitamin E 400IU (I start taking these on my own) . My derm also precribed Tretinoin 0.05% but I

Clear Skin Here I Come! Updated
I have been going to my family doctor for about 4 years now to get help with clearing up my acne. I have tried just about everything and nothing has worked. She put me on ortho-tri cyclen and I have been on it for 5 years now it helped a little bit but I have not had clear skin since middle school.

The Process Updated
Cystic nodular acne is a pain & can be a pill to deal with & heal. Spiro (50 mg) a day, Finacea and chemical peels have been the regimen for a few weeks now. This is the status as of present. I await clarity!
