Hydrogenperoxide (3%) as on-the-spot?

Recommended Posts

Yeah I was just thinking... I found this bottle in my drawer with hydrogenperoxide, or "DAK". I use it for when I get a big wound to prevent an infection, but I was just thinking.. Couldn't it be used against bigger pimbles in development? I mean.. It disinfects by providing oxygen to the area. But I don't know.. Maybe it's too harsh for the skin in the face.

What are your words on this matter?

Don't do it. Hydrogen peroxide will disinfect, but it will also cause free-radical dammage to your skin. The last thing you want to do to acneic skin (and skin in general) is damage it.
