soulstar 0 Share Posted June 5, 2006 Do they all tend to contain oil etc in there?I've never seemed to suffer a reaction from putting creams such as e45 on but never done this directly over BP.
brandolynn 287 Share Posted June 5, 2006 rich night creams tend to be more comedogenic than their lighter lotion versions. We don't want to smother our skin in something real thick, just compensate for moisture loss.I've never found a "cream" that I've liked, and "lotions" are more likely to be oil-free and less pore-clogging. soulstar 0 Author Share Posted June 5, 2006 what I've found from this board though is that some people seem to believe a product that contains oil is a direct cause for spots/acne which I believe may be a little ott.
brandolynn 287 Share Posted June 5, 2006 oil is a controversial thing, that's true. While some oils seem to be well tolerated by acne-prone skin, others just cause trouble.and especially if you have oily skin already, adding in more oil just seems counter-productive.
