I am looking for a Makeup that Covers Scars

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am new here and just got done posting a few questions on the scar board.

I was wondering about makup tips for the acne scarred individuals?

I mainly have rolling scars, not the raised ones.

I notice that when I put makeup on in the AM, it helps some. It soon fades though.

They took away my favorite foundation!! ALMAY Long Lasting, what a bummer!!

Anyway, back on the subject, does anyone have any suggestions for makeup that will cover those indented scars?? Powder ideas accepted too!! I love the silky feel of Estee Lauder Lucidity, but I do not think it has much staying power.

I also DO NOT want to feel like I am wearing an ugly mask either. Ewwww.

Thanks so much in advance!!!

lancome paris has a lovely foundation (color ID). its very light and the wonderful ladies will match you perfectly. get a concealer thats even lighter, a powder to match. if you need more coverage, i reccomend their PHOTOGENIC line. WONDERFUL makeup. if you have oily skin i highly reccommend their T-Zone oil controler. its WONDERFUL for controling oil that will wear down your makeup. I also recommend Serious Skin Care's Vitamin A primer. It does wonders to fill in scars and lines and smooth out your skin. I cannot stress the importance of using a foundation brush to apply and blend makup... AND letting each layer (primer, mositerizer, t-zone, concealer, foundation ect. ) dry and absorb before you complete your makeup.

this is kind of confusing for me since i never thought about wearing make up until my recent soon to be break through in Hollywood...

so i keep hearing about this MAC makeup??? plus i have a light skin tone and my mom keep saying that if i wear make up, people wil notice the differences so i guess i would have to find a make up that is superb..any suggestion... and yes i am a guy..
