it doesn't unlcog them.if they are blackheads or looks like there something in them try very gently using a really soft toothbrush to kinda scrub them twice a day while you have the soap on your face.or you can pop them but that can lead no nothin but trouble lol

I have almost no active acne.. clogged pores are more of a problem, I got a lot of clogged pores on my nose and around my nose that seem to be causing acne, ive started to use benzaclin on a small area I hope it helps. I think my pores are larger in some areas due to the inflammation more then anything.

From PubMed

"The mode of action of benzoyl peroxide in acne is three-fold, i.e. sebostatic, comedolytic and inhibitory to P. acnes in-vivo. "

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.f...9&dopt=Abstract

and

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.f...0&dopt=Abstract

Both articles state that bp does have comedolytic properties. Comedolytic means that it breaks up comedones (clogs).

Does that mean that yes it does clog pores? Sorry for being thick!

if it does unclog pores, then you shouldnt have to worry about acne at all later, but thats not the case, if it does, then something keeps blocking the pores afterwards then, seems like an unending cycle

i siad before is doesn't unlcog them but i dont know facts i just know from experience that bp alone will not get rid of clogges pores.it might help break em down and do its thing however it does scientificaly but if clogged pores is your problem i bleiive bp isn't your cure.dryskin causes more oilproduction and that i know causes more blackheads and clogged pores.and bp drys the hell outta you lol

what i use on my nose if i feel ive got a lot of Blackheads etc

is

http://www.expresschemist.co.uk/pics/produ...0/tzonenose.jpg

u apply warm water to ur nose an apply one of thse badboys

then 15mins later u peel off slowly an its grabbed on2 all the blackheads

it leaves u with open looking pores for a day or so because uve basically jus removed everything from them instantly

but u jus moisturise an its fine !

no, it means that it helps to break down clogs in pores. "comedo" means a clog, and "lytic" means to break down.
