Okay, so I have acne (I'm on an acne board, duh),

I have always enjoyed green tea. I prefer to make it loose leaf. Recently, I have started drinking white tea as well (I hear it has more nutrition and good stuff).

I started making it without my strainer. I just put the leaves in the cup, pour hot water in. Let it sit, then drink the tea and eat the leaves. It is a little bitter, but it doesn't bother me too much. I read that the tea only captures about 25% of the "good stuff" in a tea leaf, so I guess eating the leaf wouldn't be such a bad idea.

I have heard great stuff about tea helping acne. Any thoughts?

I was intrigued by your consumption of tea leaves...(and grossed out a bit...lol) I Googled it and apparently you are not the only one who eats the leaves. Some people cook with them too..by putting tea in breads and muffins and such.. so I guess you will be okay... :D
