Hi everyone,

In the regimen, I read this:

"If you prefer to use a shave cream, make sure it is "non-comedogenic" and wash your face very gently afterwards with a cleansing bar or wash."

I went to the store because I was tired of trying to shave with cetaphil (it runs off).

I looked and looked at all the shaving creams. None of them say non-comedogenic.

Would this work:

Gillette Foamy Sensitive Skin shaving cream?

How can you tell if shaving cream is non-comedogenic?

I never got shaving with shaving cream to work with acne.

I bought a phillips electric razor (3 head) for £100 quite expensive but

i get a great shave and it does not irritate at all ever.

You can get a extremely close shave if you go against the "grain" but it irritates a little, not as much compared to normal wet shaving tho.

my advice is purchase a cleansing BAR

an make a lather

then shave it off as if it was shaving foam

thats what i do an i never get acne irritation from it.

For anyone who is interested, I emailed Gilette, and I got the response that:

"All Gillette products are non-comedogenic"

:D

That's good to know!

For me, I'm using Burt's Bee Garden Tomato Complexion Soap. It comes in bar form, so I shave when I wash my face in the morning. It isnt as "clean" as shaving cream, but I definitely dont see any irritation. A little beard here and there I dont mind.

Btw I'm an asian and naturally have very little hair. I could go 3-4 days without a beard growing.
