Aloe Vera on sensitive skin

Recommended Posts

Hi, I've been on Minocin for a while now and it has made my spots very dry, prone to bleeding and hasn't stopped active acne. I'm going to give a little bit more time, but in the meantime, I thought to help the current condition of my skin I could use Aloe Vera Gel. I'm thinking of applying it to my entire face except my forehead before bed. Right now I use spectroderm as a cleanser.

Do you think this is a good idea? I don't know how aloe vera gel really works, like whether you wash it off. I want to use it primarily because my spots are so damn dry and sensitive I thought it might help heal them.

Are you looking for a moisturizer? If so, then I wouldnt suggest aloe vera. It's quite drying I must say...

You can always try it.. it's something that you apply and leave it on for the day.
