I find accutane rather frustrating. I mean the needle every month. Then you have to wait for feedback to see if you qualify for another dose. Then you have to wait for the doctor to send the fax over to the pharmacy.

When you have bitchy receptionists working for your doctor's office. When they don't send the fax on time, then your delayed taking your pills.

Grrr.....I've had enough already, and I've only been on it for a month.

My doctor's office called yesterday telling me that my prescription was ready to be picked up. I decided to call the pharmacy (good thing) first to see if it was actually in. Well thank god I called b/c it wasn't even ready yet. The receptionist didn't even send the fax over......omg!

I really hope they send it tomorrow b/c I just finished my last pill tonight....

what happens if you miss a day with taking pills? like skip a day?

I might not have a choice the way it's looking...a little bit frustrated....i'm sure next month will be easier.

Do you all have a hard time getting your pills each month?

IF you skip a day it's not that big of a deal. Accutane is a cumulative course so missing a day in the long run won't make a difference at all. Just try not to skip too much!

Although one of the girls over in the Accutane Logs section said that when she had a week-long hiccup in her treatment because of iPledge that her skin cleared up incredibly (since accutane slows the healing of skin). But I wouldn't recommend it if you can avoid it.

Good luck!
