I don't know much about it but yes I heard people using it from a plant and that it is effective that way... just as much as gel would be. I do believe that it soothes red marks too and helps then fade. AHA is supposed to do that too. :D

Exactly! In different ways though, AHA is more of an exfoliant (sorta like a chemical peel in a way) and aloe vera just helps the red marks fade by speeding up the healing process, it helps the skin to heal. You could get it out of the plant, but it's stickier, harder to get out, and probably would make more of a mess and leave heaps of dead little squished aloe vera thingies everywhere, it's easier to get it in a gel form.. but if you don't mind the mess, try the natural way!

i use aloe vera gel and ye i think it does help red mark a bit, its really gentle against my skin i have to use more of it than eucerin but greasiness is not a problem at all
