Wowza! I'm overwhelmed by all the replies :doh: Just got back from the derm who was too busy flirting with his assistant to really care about what i was saying but he has given me 2 more months at the same dose. i'm just gonna up my own dose to 50 or 60 and see how it goes, should be done in 5 or 6 weeks :clap:

Very funny, because it's accurate: it seems there are a lot of derms out there who really don't care as much about their patients as they ought to.

DAY 166

And thats the last of them, its all over! :D put myself on 60mg for the last few weeks, no real breakouts, just a couple of small spots. Overall EXTREMELY pleased with the result so far, and hopefully my skin will stay clear now for a while at least. I'm gonna go through the possible side effects for anyone interested...

Conjunctivitis...........................................NO

dry or fragile skin.....................................YES, face and arms particularly

dry or cracked lips....................................YES, all the time

dry mouth................................................YES, corners of mouth cracked quite a lot

dry nose..................................................NO

itching.....................................................YES, arms again

joint pains................................................NO

nosebleed................................................NO

Bowel inflammation and pain......................NO

chest pain.................................................NO

decreased night vision................................NO, well i was never much good at seeing in the dark anyway

delay in wound healing...............................YES, pretty noticeable too, also find myself getting scratches and cuts very easily

depression................................................NO

fatigue......................................................NO

headache..................................................NO

nausea......................................................NO

peeling palms or soles................................NO

rash..........................................................YES, if eczema counts as a rash

skin infections............................................YES, if eczema counts as a skin infection

stomach and intestinal discomfort................NO

sunburn-sensitive skin................................YES, good job I live in England

thinning hair..............................................NO

urinary discomfort......................................NO

vision problems..........................................NO

vomiting....................................................NO

I found it quite easy really, apart from the IB which was a nightmare. I'd reccomend it to anyone without a shadow of a doubt.
