eh... sorta, but different method.

TCA cross uses acid to burn through the epidermis to treat the below scared area,

needling keeps the epidermid intact, and mananges to pierce the dermis.

TCA cross obviously causes more surface damage, but thats not what we are interested in.

Needling gets straight to the point, and the downtime and healing opportunites are more in our favour.

I mean your skin doesn't have to bother rebuilding your epidermis, it can go straight to healing the real problem. Also with the epidermis intact, you dont have to worry about staying out the sun as your skin can protect it self quite well.

yea same here, i thought i lost it for good,

i figured i'd post it here as back up as it rather valuble to alota people,

and as PM's are known to go missing when im deleting like crazy when the box gets full.

I've been crossing some rolling scars, just applying the acid to the very center of the scar. It's working, as they are filling in, but these are the scars that are also getting discolored a bit, so be careful with it. It doesn't bother me much because I figure if it doesn't go away, it's easier to treat discoloration than indented scarring, so at least I've taken a step forward, and it's pretty light anyway, but do be careful.

so let me get this straight.. i should buy 100% tca and use a toothpick to put it in the center of my rolling scars? and leave it on?

To be honest, I would recommend needling over cross any day of the week for your type of scars. I've done both and I would save tca cross for sharp edged scars.
