Hmmm :-k .....depends on if its a chemical or humidity factor making your face red. If its chemical, try to avoid what's triggering the reaction and cut back on any harsh face wash or medicine ( use natural, botanical stuff for a bit). If its humidity that's making you a tomato, try splashing problem areas with cold water and/or get out your ice pack. Good luck. [-o<

I break into a sweat whenever I eat spicy food, so I always ask for the mild dishes. If you eat something spicy, as the previous respondent said, splash your face with water.

You might have rosacea. One of the triggers is spicy foods. Do a google search on it. Alcohol, spicy foods, excess proteins are some of the triggers. Very similar to acne from an ayurvedic perspective.

www.curezone.com has some really good info. do a search there to learn more.

Spicy foods make my lips a bit swollen after eating them, but I think that's pretty common. I wouldn't worry about it too much, spicy foods can make you sweat which would probably make your fice a bit red.
