Resistance to retnoids???

hey guys, i was just wondering if your body can become resistant to topical retnoids??? i know this happends with antibiotics but i've read that retnoids dont stop working even after prolonged use....any info would be greatly appreciated! ta :)

the answer is no, topical retinoids will not become resistant.

topical retinoids simply help your skin rebuild and exfoliate itself faster- about 5 times to be exact depending on the percentage. They are also belived to play a role in oil production, but thats yet to be proven.

Unlike antiobiotics, there is no bacteria for your body to become 'resistant' to, infact, topical retinoids are often prescibed when patients [such as myself] develope an immunity to antibiotics and require something more long term.

If the retinoid works once, it will continue to work as long as you use it [hint: dont come off it] :)
