exfoliation essentially means removing the layers of dead skin that accumlates on the skin surface

this can be done by using scrubs, brushes, microdermabrasion, etc etc

that would be no SURUBBING, as with washcloths or brushes.

the scrubs like st. ives aprcot scrub are ok, so i've heard anyways

that is so stupid to me. Saying dont scrub with a washcloth or brush but scrub with tiny rough little balls that scratch the skin. IMO a washcloth is probably the best and gentlest way to exfoliate.

^ lol.... some people find using a washcloth to harsh for their skin, i know when i still had acne using a washcloth it hurt my skin more then it helped, but like most people i was desperate and was willing to try anything.

What about people with super sensitive skin like me?

I have the liquid for exfoliation, and it says use a cotton ball.

Well.. cotton sure is not harsh... but it's too gentle! It doesnt get rid of the dead skin... btw what's a washcloth? A little towel?

it could be a little towel or a thinner cloth. All you have to do is put on some cleanser/or just water and then just scrub around the face in circular motions. Should take care of flakes and exfoliate without chemicals.
