WackyJacki 0 Share Posted March 26, 2006 I think as long as your drinking moderately and keeping yourself well hydrated, it shouldn't affect it. Guest Akira Share Posted March 27, 2006 i think there is some correlation, think of candida.Alcohol has yeast in it, which the candida will say "Ummm...yes i will feast upon the yeast" and that would result in more acne.Im pretty sure it has some effect on me, if i drink heavily i find my skin is worse in the morning, but i've found a little trick to combat it.If your drinking at home, for every beer you have, have a glass of water, i think this will help, and i base this on no medical evidence whatsoever. I work in a brewery and I use the yeast all the time. I think its safe to say that the yeast is over 99% dissipated in drinking alcohol, in other words, theres no yeast in drinking alcohol.
