i don't like wearing tea tree oil and/or moisturizer during the day... i was wondering if i can wear both at the same time during the night time?... if yes, what should be applied first? if no, how can i make it work? thanks

I always apply TTO first, then allow about 10 mins for it to absorb before applying moisturiser. I'd actually advise applying both so as to stop the skin getting too dry. Ideally, apply an spf moisturiser in the a.m too.

I'd put the TTO on first. I only spot treat too. Just spot the areas you need to, then wait for 10mins before applying moist all over your face.

I also use blue & red light therapy. I use 100% TTO every couple of days on larger spots, it seems to be very effective. The lights are clearing me.

Oh okay, so it didn't completely clear you this time? TTO is quite effective but it can be very drying and irritating.

What's your current regimen?

it did clear me... i've been off it for 2 weeks but i'm getting tiny white heads... i hope it stays that way though... i don't mind them i guess, as long as i don't get huge pimples/whatever... then i'm good. :)

i use clean & clear b/p cleanser 5% in the morning... and at night, i wash off my make up with some orange bar soap(bought it at a bulk store... it's a soap for acne... takes off my make-up nicely... no residue, nothing)... and then after i dry my face with facial tissues(i've stopped using towels 3 years ago), i apply pure TTO all over my face.

yeah, tea tree oil can be VERY drying... it works GREAT but very drying, i get dry patches from it.

YIKES! I suggest you DON'T use Clean and clear bp wash, it has Petroleum and Mineral oil in it! They can make your acne worse. Petroleum is used by cosmetic companys because it is unbelieveably cheap......

The oils irritate you. They may even be comedogenic, they're cheap fillers.
