I starting breakout out on my back and chest 2 years ago.. It used to be really bad but then I managed to keep it under control and just get very very little breakouts.. and maybe a painful one sometimes from that time of the month.. but lately, I can't seem to keep it under control again.. my back recently randomly broke out horrible, and my shoulders got a little bit on there too.. then just a couple days ago I went from having a clear chest, to waking up with 6 just over night! I dont' know what I did wrong because I never changed any routine. Its like ever since my face became super clear from the regimen, my acne decided to move on to other parts of my body  any advice?

i know exactly what u mean and how u feel because it happened to me also...i've always had back and chest acne, but there wasn't any major outbreaks until last year...my back started to develop masses of acne with then extended to my shoulders and upper arms...

and also i use to have a smooth clear chest, now it's filled with bumps and red marks

i also have never changed my cleansing routine...right now i am using a bp wash everyday on it and it seems to clear it up a bit, i also exfoliate gently on it to reduce some of the red marks

My advise is to follow this simple formula for bacne:

1. Wash with basis soap gel-shower

2. apply thick coat of bp gel

--wait till dry

3. (if possible.. it helps alot) apply an alpha hydroxy lotion

--its kind of annoying to do this, but it helped me alot

---can be found at walgreens

4. apply eucerin mosturizer as needed

+add bp 10% for problem spots

Good Luck.

Yep, this is what worked for me,

and it will work for you Mandy as well coz your face responded to BP.

For the alpha Hydroxy, i got 10 percent glycolic lotion, works good for red marks and a better alternative to manually waxing with a loofah which is painfull when you have acne present.
