LK2507 0 Posted February 16, 2006 So yeah Ive always had oily skin but it never bothered me. I knew it was one of the culprits of my moderate cystic combo acne. I went on accutane cause my acne got worse and my skins oil went to like nothing. It was great. after I stopped taking it it took a few months and slowly it came back. well Now (7 months later) my skin seems oilier than ever. Its even oily on the cheek area and never was before. Ive gotten a few inflammed zits even one or 2 that were borderline cystic but thats it! I used to only use those blotting sheets in the summer when it was really humid now I use them everyday (just once in the middle of the day to remove excess oil) I dont know if its my imagination cause I had virtually no oil while on the tane.. or if Im obsessing cause I know I am to some degree, or if accutane really fixed how my pores function so they dont get cloged and the oil just flows out now. OR!! Im on the regimen now I wonder if all the BP and lotion and so on it causeing it... Ive never had a reg where I put this much stuff on my face before. The Oil is kinda tolerable I mean with my blotting sheets I keep it under control but I just worry that its a sign of my acne coming back. HAS ANYONE felt there skin got oilier or just as oily again after ACCUTANE?? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
