SCAR type and treatment

Hey guys,

I am new to the board. Excuse me if my knowledge about the topic is limited.

I am a 19 yo guy from Australia. Over the last 5 years (a lot less now) I have had a significant number of pimples on my chest and back. Admittedly, I did pick at some of them. As I said, the acne problem has mostly cleared up, but I am left with scars. I will do my best to describe them. They are white, raised, not very big (up to 5mm), have a central "head" (sort of seem like a quite large, yet not fully developed white or blackhead). I have had them for a while (about 6 months). I have hear it may be Follicular macular atrophy. They are quite unsightly, and I was wondering if they will persist or dissappear in time and if there are any treatments that would help me get rid of them, preferably at home.

Thanks a lot. Any help would be appreciated!!
