soft sponge or rough in shower

i have a few spots on my chest back and shoulders im using neoutrogena visibly clear body wash atm to get rid of them but wot is the best sponge to use in the shower ??

or just a normal sponge ??

I'd go with normal. Rough sponges may irritate your skin.

i think sponges can harbor bacteria so i would just use a fresh cotton wash cloth every time u shower
