applying makep with a q-tip

Recommended Posts

I know this may sound silly but have you ever found a makeup that you really like but it only comes in a wide mouth bottle? Makes application a pain and also worry about contamination. I used to use my hands to apply but now for the past several years, I use a q-tip. Just dip it in the bottle turn sideways on your face and smooth it over then using only a new clean makeup sponge -- blend. If you need more coverage on certain spots -- you just apply with the qtip and blend. I even found some really inexpensive qtips and makeup sponges since I use alot. But honestly since I've been doing this I hardly get a breakout. Kinda worth a few extra bucks a month on qtips and sponges.

Thats exactly what I do!

It started a few months ago when I was running out of foundation, but didnt have the money to get some more, so in desperation I stuck a q-tip into the bottle to get the last few drops out lol.

But it does work great, and I have used q-tips ever since!
