I use it on open zits and it works well, but if I haven't picked it open yet it doesn't seem to help much. I also think it's good bc it kinda puts a protective coating on something I've picked too much so it doesn't get dry and nasty or further infected.

i used it and for a few days i thought it was clearing my skin, i used it on my jawline which is a problem area, after a few days i had a huge breakout where i had been applying the salvon

If ever I get a whitehead/pustule and pop it, I will put savlon over it, but thats only to prevent it from getting infected. Luckily I dont get any pustules now and relatively few whiteheads, so the savlon stays in my drawer!

my grandma sent me some of that a few years ago lol. never used it on my face thouh.

do you think it works like neosporin? everyone here hypes neosporin. well i bought my own tube and will try it today.

IMO it's not quite the same but similar. Savlon is scented, Neosporin isn't, and neo is a lighter texture than Savlon and a different active.
