Turmeric

I've read turmeric is a natural anti-androgen so can help against skin grease, please has anyone tried using it either internally or in a face mask?

I also read this stuff is used by Asian girls to stop them getting body hair (again cos of its anti-androgenic properties), does anyone know anyone who's used it for this? Sounds interesting.

Yes, it supposed to be a powerful anti-inflammatory too, but I never saw any improvements from it. I think, you have to be taking it regularly to see any effects. Tastes good with a bit of cayenne pepper on rice though.

I am hopefully optimistic about the more natural regimen that I have started. I only started at the beginning of the year so I still need to give it time. In my mirror at home it seems that I am smoothing out, but I still don't dare look in any mirror outside of my forgiving home lighting.

You can also eat turmeric, it's an Indian spice with a long tradition. Use it to give some color to rice or vegetables. Two weeks ago I've been to an ayervedic doctor and she explained me that turmeric is used in India since thousands of years to cure skin diseases. Besides, turmeric is a powerful antioxidant. The people of Okinawa (the oldest in the world) eat turmeric regularly which may be one of the reasons for their long lifes.

you can get turmeric in the spice isle at the grocery store. My mom used turmeric on foods way back when, but since she is long gone I can't ask her what she put it in. YOu coul sprinkle it on your veggies or soups, potatos, eggs possibly. Don't know how much you should eat though.
