everytime i get a zit, even if i dont put zit cream on it, it gets lots of dry, flakey skin on it and around it. it drives me nuts so im constantly pulling it off, but my sister told me not to do that cuz it will scar. is this true? i dont want scars but the peeling drives me bonkers!

Yeah, I know what you're talking about--peeling, flaky skin sucks! When my skin gets really dry, i rub neosporin on my face.. also, Microdermabrasion takes it all out..

Do you exfoliate? It would probably get rid of the dead skin cells and flakes. I'm not completely sure if it would stay gone, but it would help.

Exfoliate and moisturize.

yep ive been doing microdermabrasion alot and it just seems to help for the night and the next day its all peeling and flakey again. i moisturize everyday. i only wash and moisturize my face at night. i dont want to pick and peel it off but its just sooo annoying that i have too! anyways, do you guys think that peeling the skin off will make a scar?

I cant say for sure, but I'm sure it's not good for your face! I know, I do it too but try not to. It might leave a red spot. What do you use as a moisturizer? Maybe you need a different moisturizer. Look at your moisturizer and if it has any Parabens, time to switch.

Read these sites on Parabens. They are in almost everything, but I was able to find a lotion w/o them and I use a facial cleanser that doesn't have them.

Dont read above links if you "freak out" easily. I'm not posting them to scare anyone, but it's hard to find info on Paraben's w/o getting links on what they do. So. Chill. I freaked out when I first heard, so dont do that. Ok? ;)
