i was wondering...say that you bought a Clean&Clear clenser with 2 percent salacylic acid as it main ingedient. Then say you went out and got another clenser, only Netrogena brand, but it still has the 2percent salacylic acide as its main ingredient. Now my question is would both clensers do the same exact thing to ur face?

I'm guessing no? Mainly because there are alot of other ingredients to consider in each product which may be different. I've used clean and clear which I don't find works yet the same product in the Neutrogena range works for me. If I were you I would go with Neutrogena's Visibly Clear range, they aren't harsh and they work.

It also depends on the pH of the product. Plus I'm not sure how much a cleanser would really do, since you end up washing it off anyway.

If you want to try SA, I use Clearasil moisturiser with 2% SA which works great for me. start slow though!
