Which moisturizer are you using? Consider switching and trying something else, I would suggest Cetaphil 15 SPF, takes care of dryness well. It's wrinkles from dryness, which is temporary. As soon as your face is hydrated again, you will flake and the wrinkliness will subside. This also may be caused by the BP "hardening affect" at the onset of the regimen.

Alright cool thanks. Im using lubriderm spf 15 it has purple letters on it. Ive been on the regimen for like 4 months and always flake. Ill change moisturizers and see if that helps. Does it matter what soap bar I use for my face?

Yeah, its better if you use one of Dan's recommended gentle cleansing bars (Basis, Cetaphil, or Purpose). http://www.acne.org/findingsupplies.php

You should be able to find at least one of them in a local pharmacy. Also, which BP are you using?

K sounds good, I use the Cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer and I really like them. I've tried the Neutrogena SPF 15 Moisture, Neutrogena Healthy Skin lotion with AHA, and the Eucerin with AHA, all of which dried me out and made my skin really tight and I had to go back to the Cetaphil everytime which took off the dryness in a few days and then caused me to flake like crazy for another few days because the dryness came to surface. They should have them at a local pharmacy if you live in North America. Tell me what you think of them. Expect flakiness once the dryness subsides (if it does), which is normal and the flakes will wash off your skin in a week or less, don't scrub them off though.

Heres the Cetaphil moisturizer and cleanser ->

If you can't find the Cetaphil cleanser, get the Basis or Purpose ->

Perfect, remember to use as much moisturizer as you need. While dry, I would recommend using a lot. When I was dry, I probably used around 8 or so for my entire face morning and night. Now, that the dryness is gone, I use about 5. Good luck, tell me what you think of the Cetaphil moisturizer.

Hmm, that doesn't happen to me often. If it does, it's just a very thin film of white which soaks back into the skin after I cool down a bit. It may be caused by the temporary flaking which you're experiencing after dryness goes away. The flaking should be gone in a week or so if you're not dry during the day anymore at all (it's alright to be dry in between applications, but after moisturizing, your skin should feel hydrated and normal for the rest of the day).

Wait for the flakiness to go away and then see if it the moisturizer still comes off when you sweat, don't scrub the flakiness off. Also, you're probably using a shitload of pumps of Cetaphil to fix the dryness, I'm guessing more then 6 or 7, am I right? Once your flakiness is gone, reduce the number of pumps to 4 or 5, I use about 5 when my skin is normal. This might also help the moisturizer from surfacing when you sweat since theres less of it on your skin.
