This Will Cure You!

Recommended Posts

I've found the CURE to acne...after reading these boards and putting together all sorts of information, I've come up with it. It's perfect. Just follow my advice exactly and you will never have acne again.

First, change your pillow case everyday. Also, wash your clothes and don't let them sit - as MOLD causes acne. Oh, and stop touching your face! I've also completely stopped exercising, because exercise causes acne.

I made a few *tiny* changes to my diet, and they REALLY helped! First, I cut out all of the sugar, because sugar causes acne. Really, any food with a high GI number, has to go. Also, anything that is dairy, because dairy causes acne. Oh - and no grains, beef, peanuts, peanut butter, or any processed foods - those all cause acne.

I've also given up beer, wine and hard liquor - because alcohol....causes acne. Oh - and I now cleanse my liver each week, to get rid of my gallstones...because gallstones cause acne.

Also, don't listen to your doctor. Any doctor that gives you any drug is a crappy doctor that is being bribed by the drug companies. Stop taking any and all antibotics at once, because antibiotics cause acne!

Finally, never, ever have sex or masterbate - because sex and masterbation cause acne!

Well, I hope this helps you out - don't get stressed out by all the changes you'll need to make though...because stress causes acne.

That's why I stopped trying to find the "cause" of acne....I only have so many years to live after all. I don't want to spend them in a bubble, never being able to properly enjoy my life because I'm wasting it away by making sure I never do anything that might "cause acne".

ok

don't have sex ever in your life. whatever makes u happy

oh, btw, MASTURBATION DOES NOT CAUSE ACNE!

Are you SURE that it doesn't? I mean, everyone is different after all. What is your take on the following...

The Lin Institute

Newman Kunti Lin, PhD., P.E.

PhD Engineering, Dept. of Civil Engineering, University Of California at Berkeley

Problems associated with Over-Masturbation and Over-Ejaculation:

Over-ejaculation melts down the acetylcholine/parasympathetic nervous

functions first and then the liver functions that release essential

enzymes for the syntheses of the neurotransmitters acetylcholine,

dopamine and serotonin and the chains of hormone production; it

causes the brain and adrenal functions to perform excessive

dopamine-norepinephrine-epinephrine conversion and turn the brain and

body functions to be extremely sympathetic. It results in the brain's

and nervous dysfunctions, stress, anxiety, impatience, eye floaters or

fuzzy vision, buzzing (noisy) ears, cardiovascular irregularities,

urinary incontinence.

-------------------------------------------

Two medical specialists have suggested a link between masturbation and

physical abnormalities due to zinc-deficiency. Dr. David Horrobin, MD,

PhD, Oxford University, states:

"The amount of zinc in semen is such that one ejaculation may get rid

of all the zinc that can be absorbed from the intestines in one day.

This has a number of consequences. Unless the amount lost is replaced

by an increased dietary intake, repeated ejaculation may lead to a

real zinc deficiency with various problems developing, including

impotence.

"It is even possible, given the importance of zinc for the brain, that

19th century moralists were correct when they said that repeated

masturbation could make one mad!"

-------------------------------------------

How To Break Away From The Addictive Behavior of Masturbation?

Mitchell McNiff, M.D.

Masturbation is a healthy sexual behavior. Like other behaviors,

when over practiced or addicted it can lead to both psychological and

physiological imbalances.

The side effects of such changes to the body include:

Fatigue. Feeling tired all the time

Lower back pain

Stress / Anxiety

Thinning hair / Hair Loss

Soft / Weak Erection

Premature Ejaculation

Eye floaters or fuzzy vision

Groin / Testicular Pain

Pain or cramp in the pelvic cavity or/and tail bone

nothing bout acne :lol2:

Except that stress causes acne (listed above) and a lack of zinc can cause acne.

Read the product reviews - http://www.acne.org/rate_item.php?item_id=200

Zinc has a rating of 3.9/5.0

"Dude, zinc freaking rules my life. Ever since I started taking 50mg of zinc once a day, my face has never been clearer! I loveeee zinc"

"Zinc is amazing for acne!"

"A friend recommended I try this after nothing was working, and I'm hooked! It took a few weeks before I really starting seeing results, but my skin is so clear right now."

"Zinc works great! Just be sure to get zinc gluconate as it is most effective for acne"

"Amazinc! Who thought zinc, a natural supplement could work so well!! Take it as a pill (30mg a day) as well as in a topical lotion (available at natural stores)."

----------------------------------------

So, a lack of zinc causes acne....and ejaculating gets rid of zinc....Hmmmm! Now, your average 15 year old guy is lucky to get a handjob, much less consistant sex. If a guy had sex three times a day, it would be a problem too, but how many guys do you know that actually can do that? Not many.

But, masterbation is something anyone can do, as much as they want.

true

the point of all this is: don't spank that monkey too much

Oh my....and what exactly would be too much???

Some people say having sexual activity (whatever the type) once will lead to breakouts a few days later. Yet those articles were about overdoing it? Oh, and let's not forget, other acne suffers have no problems with this.

While I can definately come up with a few hormonal disorders that may explain the problem for the one-timers, again, just as with food's role on acne, the role of sexual activity is ALSO individual.

Good luck guys.

Your an idiot. Your telling people to change their pillowcases, as if dirt or germs causes acne. How many people sleep on the same pillowcase each night and how many have acne, not that much.

You my friend, are an idiot.

Oh - and here's some comments from members of this forum...

teplo: I don't sleep on a pillow, and try not to sleep on my side; last night I said "fuck it" and slept on my right side. As a result, the right side of my face broke out. I definitely see a connection

Tired_of_Waiting: Its actually not a myth, if you have irritated skin and sleep with your face on a pillow it can't breathe as well and it can contribute to irritation. It won't necessarily CAUSE acne (dirt doesn't cause acne, only bacteria that you CAN'T get from a pillow can do that and hormonal actions) however if you have sensitive skin and you don't let it breathe putting your head on a pillow and stifling your skin can't help. Also your body sheds dead skin cells all the time, changing your pillowcase is just a good idea as it keeps those from irritation the skin on your face as they can be an irritant as well.I sleep on my side but i have learned how to sleep so that its more of my ear and side of my head NOT my cheek that touches the pillow, tho occasionally i wake up with my face smushed in :P its not a big deal but i try to keep things irritation free for me

SeattleGirl: ...She said that temple acne is often caused or aggravated by pillow cases, because after a while they get oils and build up on them, and when your face is pressed against the pillow your pores can't "breathe" She told me I should change my pillow cases every 3-4 days

WolfeAtWork: From my own personal experience I have found that smothering my face in my pillow at night makes one side of my face a lot worse than the other

RedSeven:Wash hair every day as the oil from there gets on face from pillow cases. Pillow cases should also be changed frequently and try and sleep on back (difficult I know).

And those are just results from the FIRST page returned by the forum search engine.

So...please, explain why I'm an idiot again...?

Add me to the list.

I rotate my pillows so that I can sleep on one pillowcase 4 times (once on each end of the pillowcase front and back). If I don't do this eventually I will notice a pimple or two on the back of my neck. I will also notice a pimple or two on the edge of my chin where it hits the sheets if I don't change my sheets every week.

Oh and even though I have found wonderfully amazing results with changing my diet, so much so that certain pore clogging ingredients don't bother me, some still do and I still get some scalp acne from certain natural hair care products because of the oils.

That's my 2 cents

Your an idiot because dirt and or bacteria doesn't case acne, and is it ever so possible that Teplo broke out because of a bad diet or not sticking to a regimen. And oh wow, he broke out on his right side because he slept on his right side, theirs only 2 sides so theirs a 50/50 chance hes gonna break out on one side.

So that is why your an idiot.

Hahaha....hahahahaa.......hahahhaha MOTHER FARKING HAHA.

You must be the smartest 7th grader on the internet. Unfortuently, that doesn't make you very smart.

Did you even look up the topic at hand? How many people need to tell you that changing your pillow case is a good idea before you will believe it? As cool as it would be, simply because you say something...does not make it true! Provide, a link or a study that says the pillow case has no affect on acne...

Oh, and also, when you get older you'll probably have to take a class called 'Statistics and/or Probability'. You really should pay attention in that one. You'll learn about something being 'statistically significant'. See - take a coin for example, there are two sides, right? 50/50 chance then, right? What happens if you flip a coin 1000 times and 90% of the time it comes up heads? Maybe that coin isn't balanced properly?

What if a person sleeps on the right side of their face...and 90% of their acne is on the right side? 50/50 still, right?

Because, anytime there are two options, it is 50/50! Man, I love the way you think! You'd sure make Vegas a lot of fun. Hell, I bet you think your odds of winning the Lotto are 50/50 because you either do win, or you don't win. If I were you, I'd start buying tickets like crazy!

wow this subject should be deleted!! how stupid is this :wall:

It doesn't address anything that hasn't already been posted in this forum, does it? :) Granted, the name-calling that has taken place here is pretty immature, but, what can you do? It's the internet. I'll admit it, I was pretty sad when that guy called me an idiot...but after my mom told me I was smart, well, I just feel heaps better!

Seriously though, it's just a post highlighting how frustrating this forum (I mean the whole site, not just this one) can be. Everyday someone else posts the 'CURE' for acne. "Oh man, why do you guys waste your time with all that crap? I had acne for 47 years, since I was born, but then I stopped eating dairy, and now I'm clear. Just stop eating dairy! It's amazing'. Or 'Cleanse your liver! Drink this stuff and then take a big dump, and you'll be clear. That's all you have to do, all that other stuff is B.S. - this worked for me, it must work for everyone.' It's just as bad in the perscription meds too - 'Dude I took _____ and everything over the counter is crap. Just save yourself the time and possible scars and get on _____ cause I took it, and it worked for me. Yup _____ is the best thing ever!'.

Anyway, most of the cures people talk about have very little, to no, scientific backing. If you look hard enough, you can find a study or website saying anything you want is either good or bad. I mean, there are probably a million different sites that say masterbation is perfectly healthy, but I can find 10 that say it isn't, so who is to say I'm wrong?

First I though this was a joke, then you started to reply. You can eat whatever you want(Although you don't know what GI really is and how to manipulate it if you think the only answer is cuting out high GI foods), as long as youi get the proper macro/micronutrients.

When you say things like this:

"Provide, a link or a study that says the pillow case has no affect on acne..."

You accuse other of having the intelligence of a 7th grader yet you fail to realize that when you make a scientific claim that you have to provide your own evidence. In this case a study, a double blind study. I saw no study in your links, more along the lines of so and so doctor says that this causes acne or most derms agree... which you should know is far from real evidence. God forbid that I question the validity of the intensive studies conducted by beautyriot or mammashealth. Then you contradict yourself relying on derms and other medical professionals to back your point when you yourself say earlier to never listen to doctors. Did you know that 4 out of 5 dentists agree that about 5 different toothpastes are the best. Explain the statistical validity of such a claim to me and then relate it to what you gave us.

What really pisses me off though is when you say never take antibiotics and stop taking them right now if you are. Sure they can be bad in the long run but if you are on a batch of antibiotics, especially in the short term, you would be a fool to not finish the course you have now. I also assume you are never going to do any real travelling your lifetime if you plan on not taking any antibiotics as malaria pills are needed in large chunks of the world. Am I not to travel to Cambodia or India now?

I lied in the above statement, the thing that really pisses me off is you pushing for no exercise. I'm not going to even start on this except to say I hope that you live in the states because the medical problems your lazy ass is going to have when you get older will at least be paid mostly by you and less by the tax payers, like in Canada. When you have a massive coronary at age 55, you will have wished that you exercised, and maybe even drank moderately(If your only objection is acne formation) and had some acne.

This topic is what is great and what is wrong with free speech.
