i dont know.

im on Benzaclin so I gently rub some on (small dose) around my chin, my chin is SMOOTH, but now I need to get rid of the red blotches, and alot of teeny tiny black dots all over...(football strap messed up my chin)

are those scars? they dont look like those nasty acne scars, but they are marks, so idk.

I don't know either.

Usually I just dab it on gently since I don't want to cause further irritation to my skin. If it's a nighttime cream or gel, I put on a lot without much rubbing. If it's a daytime cream or gel and I want it to disappear I'll use it more sparingly and rub more. Ask your dermatologist.

My derm. told me when applying retin-a or creams just to rub very gently/lightly a very small amount. I only dab benzyl peroxide on spots.
