zxc 2 Share Posted November 11, 2005 (edited) Hi! If I have an indented scar and then remove the scar tissue with acid, I kind of fear that new skin will not go to the surface, because it still is bend down by the scar tissue. Is that wrong? Or does new skin appear gradually when you remove the scar tissue?Or in other words: is the only thing that prevents new skin from forming the scar tissue? Would it in theory be possible to remove all scar tissue, and if the body did not produce new scar tissue new skin would appear and the scar would after some time completely disappear....Am I wrong or what?
